How it works

  1. Approve the role's template

    Every outreach message for a role goes from the outreach template approved for it, so you know its words before any of them goes.

  2. A draft for every candidate who passed

    Each message is drafted for the candidate & the role, with 1 follow-up for 2 to 3 days later if they have not replied.

  3. You approve the batch

    The drafts come to you as a batch in the web console, follow-up included, & nothing is sent until you approve it.

  4. Or put a role's outreach on hands-free

    Approve a role's outreach template once, & that role sends from it on its own, at a pace that keeps your accounts safe.

What stays with you

  • Every first message. Nothing goes out until you approve the batch, or the role's template for hands-free.
  • The mode. You pick hands-on or hands-free for each role's outreach. Each recruiter has a stop switch that halts Sparky's work for them.
  • Who hears from you again. Every send is checked against who has already heard from you, so nobody gets your messages twice.

Questions

Does Sparky send messages without me?

Only for a role whose outreach you put on hands-free, & only from the outreach template you approved for that role. Everywhere else, each batch waits for your approval in the web console.

Will the messages sound like me?

Each outreach message goes from the template approved for the role, & you approve each batch. You can edit any reply before it goes. Coming soon: Sparky learns how you write, from what you write & edit in Skosh.

Does Sparky follow up?

Once. The follow-up is part of the Outreach you approve: 1 message, 2 to 3 days later, if the candidate has not replied.

Can the same candidate get my messages twice?

No. Every send is checked against who has already heard from you, & Sparky does not contact the same person again unless your team clears it.

The other stages

  • Screening: Sparky reviews every candidate against your role's criteria & sends the ones it cannot call to you to decide.
  • Replies: Sparky reads the replies to its emails, in your own Gmail threads. Hands-on, it drafts an answer for you to approve, edit or skip. Hands-free, it sends only the kinds of reply a person cleared. Pay, visa, a no thanks & any reply in another language always wait for a person.
  • Scheduling: When a candidate says yes, you approve the booking invite on its card & Sparky sends your booking link from your Gmail; a role sends it without that tap only from the Booking invite template a person approved for it, & only once your company turned hands-free booking on. Before the call, Sparky sends the candidate up to 2 reminders, each from a reminder template a person approved for the role.
  • Call notes: coming next, a prep note before the call & notes after it.
