The terms for using Skosh.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between Skosh (the company named under Contact) & the organisation that uses Skosh (the customer). By using Skosh, you accept these terms for the customer & confirm that you may do so.

The service

Skosh is an AI sourcer for talent teams. It works with the recruiting tools & accounts the recruiter works in or connects, on the recruiter's behalf & at their direction. It reviews candidates against a role's criteria, drafts messages & replies, sends each one once a person approves it, or within the template & rules a person approved for hands-free or for the reminders before a booked call, & marks a call booked when the recruiter's own calendar shows it.

Skosh is in active development, so features may change, be added or be removed.

Accounts & invitations

Access to Skosh is by invitation. An admin of the customer's organisation invites each user & sets their role. Each user signs in with their own work account & keeps it secure. The customer is responsible for what happens under its users' accounts.

The customer's responsibilities

The customer, & each of its users, must:

comply with the terms of every third-party service it connects or uses with Skosh,
have a lawful basis to contact each candidate, & honour every opt-out,
review what Skosh drafts before approving it, because AI drafts can be wrong,
choose the mode each stage runs in, & take responsibility for what it approves & for the stages it sets to run hands-free.

Acceptable use

The customer must not use Skosh to:

send spam or unsolicited bulk messages,
discriminate unlawfully against any candidate,
try to break, probe or get around Skosh's security,
do anything unlawful.

Customer data

Customer data belongs to the customer. Skosh processes it to provide the service, as the Privacy policy & the Data Processing Addendum describe. A signed copy of the Data Processing Addendum is available on request.

Fees

Self-serve plans & their prices are on the pricing page. They are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, per Sparky (Skosh's AI assistant, 1 for each recruiter it works for), through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record & adds tax where it applies. A plan renews until it is cancelled from Manage billing, & stays on until the end of the period paid for. Enterprise plans & pilots are agreed separately in writing.

The free trial lasts 14 days, needs no card & gives 1 Sparky on 1 open role & up to 500 profile reviews. 1 trial is given per company email domain. When it ends, the customer's data is kept & Skosh is paused until a plan is chosen.

Referrals

A member of a customer can refer another company to Skosh with their referral link or the invite by email in Skosh. When the referred company starts its trial through that link & then pays its 1st invoice, the referrer's company is given a $199 credit, worth 1 month of 1 Sparky. The credit is applied to its next invoices within 30 days of the referred company's payment.

Up to 12 credits per referring company in any 12 months.
A company can be referred once, & a company cannot refer itself or a company on its own email domain.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred & end if the referring company stops being a customer.
A referred company that is refunded or charges back its 1st invoice earns no credit.
Invites by email go only to people the member knows at other companies, up to 10 a day. Skosh may stop invites that look like spam.
Skosh may change or end the referral program with notice on this page. Credits already earned are kept.

Intellectual property

Skosh, including its software, design & name, belongs to Skosh. These terms give the customer the right to use Skosh while its account is active, & do not transfer any ownership of Skosh. Customer data stays the customer's.

Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential & uses it only to perform these terms. This does not cover information that is public, that the receiving party already knew, or that the law requires it to disclose.

Third-party services

Skosh works with third-party tools & accounts the customer connects or uses with it (“Customer integrations”). Parts of the service depend on access to them & may be interrupted if that access is withdrawn.

The customer represents that it has all the rights, permissions & consents needed to connect & use each Customer integration with Skosh. The customer is solely responsible for complying with each provider's terms, & for claims that arise from its use of Customer integrations through Skosh.

Any exchange between the customer & a third-party provider is between them & is governed by that provider's terms. Skosh makes no promise that any integration stays available.

Product names used on this site belong to their owners, & Skosh is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Disclaimers

Skosh is in active development & is provided “as is” & “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. AI output can be wrong, so review it before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Skosh is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Suspension & termination

Skosh may suspend access if these terms are broken, or to protect Skosh, its users or the accounts it works in. Either party may stop using or providing Skosh for the customer at any time. When the account ends, customer data is deleted or returned, as the Privacy policy describes.
